    maria borelius is a prizewinning science journalist and author to several popular science books about medicine and health.

    She’s currently a columnist for Dagens Industri, the biggest daily financial newspaper in Sweden; as well as working as an advisor for several scientific institutions, pharmaceutical- and tech companies globally and the founder of Ester, an organization supporting marginalized immigrant women.

    Maria has previously worked as a science journalist and editor for the evening news “Rapport” on Swedish national public TV, and was the editor and anchor of the largest science program Nova for many years. She produced numerous TV-programs on popular science, such as Giving Birth which got record audiences. In 2006, she was an Elected Member of Parliament and Minister of Trade in Sweden.

    Her published works include Sedan du fött (translated into German, Norwegian and Danish), Motboken with fellow author Marie Bloom, Bryt sista tabut about mental health stigma.

    Her title Health Revolution – The Quest For an Anti-inflammatory Lifestyle has sold over 100.000 copies in Sweden. Her latest book Bliss, the highly anticipated sequel to Health Revolution, was published April 2019.
